An Understanding with our Members …

 

1. Members, guests and public players alike must check in with the golf shop staff before playing the golf course.  To ensure a position on the tee box for you and your guests, tee times are required.  All members, guests and public players alike are also expected to abide by our policies (always subject to change) or risk the termination of their privileges.

 

2. Our members agree to set the example for all guests and public play by staying out of all areas on the course marked as ground under repair or otherwise protected for the sake of improved playability for members and guests of Maplegate Country Club.  Please obey all golf cart signs and direction arrows.  

 

3. Our Anniversary Membership is a pre-paid greens fee program for 2 years and is valid through May 31, 2012 and applies to “open play” periods at the course during the golf season.  Open play is defined as any time there is not an organized event (i.e. outings/leagues/tournaments) or  any day declared by the management.

 

4. Our 5 day Anniversary Membership is applicable Monday-Friday throughout the season, with the exception of holidays.  Our 7 day Anniversary Membership is applicable Monday-Sunday including holidays.  No tee-times will be available for either the 5 or 7 day members before 10:30am Friday, Saturday, Sunday and all holidays. 

 

5. Members, guests and public players will not play the golf course during periods when a portion of the holes (or the entire course)  are closed due to weather, special events or golf course maintenance.  We will be aerating the greens the Tuesday after Memorial Day, and the Tuesday after Labor Day.  Please respect all golf course personnel and remember the golf course is our #1 priority and do your part by replacing divots and repairing ball marks.

 

6. This is not a Junior Membership.  Junior golfers are restricted to prior to 7am Monday-Friday.  Juniors 15-18 years of age can play unsupervised Monday-Sunday after 3pm. Juniors 14 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult Monday-Sunday after 3pm. 

 

7. This membership is non-transferable and does not include range balls, the use of the private practice area, guest fees, or the handicap system.  7 day advanced tee-times are available.  14 day advanced tee-times are available to public play, and full-time members. 

 

8. The cart fee for this membership is $20.00 per person.  It is the same fee for any number of holes you play – 3,9,18, etc.  If you ride alone the fee is still $20.00 and players are required to ride together when applicable.  

 

9. Maplegate Country Club will be solely responsible for the distribution of all alcoholic beverages at the facility.  Therefore, as members you agree that you and your guests will not bring alcoholic beverages onto the property that were not purchased at the facility. This is consistent with Massachusetts Law. 

 

10. You can walk and carry your bag at any time with the exception of Saturday-Sunday before 12:00 noon (drive carts are mandatory Saturday-Sunday mornings).  Pull carts will be allowed Monday-Friday before noon only.  If you tee off before 12 noon you can use your pull cart.   After 12 noon, NO PULL CARTS ALLOWED! 

 

11. We know as members you will agree to respect the game of golf, the golf course itself and our other members/guests of Maplegate Country Club.
